if you're here it's because you're interested in having a session with me can I just say a huge 'thank you'! Maybe it's weird, but my heart is still warmed every time someone is moved enough by my work to explore my website for more information. So welcome and THANK YOU!
The very first thing I'd love to share with you is that the photos with your family really are an investment. They will only grow in value as the years pass and your little ones grow.
I hope they provide a source of joy, reflection and beautiful memories, especially the in years to come.

creative fee
The creative fee is a non refundable booking fee that covers my time and talent for our session and allows me to secure your chosen date.
This fee includes the session at a location in or around the beautiful Yarra Valley and Melbourne, as well as style and preparation guidance.
Roughly 3 weeks after our session you’ll be able to view the artfully edited images in an online slideshow.
From here you will be able to choose which collection you’d like to add on and select only the images you love!

A fine art lay flat album printed on thick archival quality card stock and bound so that each spread can lay completely flat. These albums are available in a variety of covers including linen textured fabrics, leatherette or even genuine leather (additional fees may apply for premium cover options). Made to last lifetimes, these are premium albums that can be passed down the generations.

Why lifestyle photography
The joy of lifestyle photography is that it captures real connection and real emotion. It's not overly posed, and there's no forced cheesy grins at the camera. The session itself is a time of fun quality time, so not only will you end up with beautiful images, you'll also have beautiful memories. I'll ask you to cuddle, to run, to explore and tickle your children. We go at your children's pace, and are guided by how they're feeling. There's usually silliness and dancing and of course plenty of hugs!
What if my kids aren't feeling it?
When you book with me you get a session guide that helps you prepare for our session, this includes some tips on how to prepare your littles. Some kids are just shy, that's who they are, and that is totally fine! I always like to gauge how your kids are feeling and will customise the session flow to best suit them. If they're feeling wild and want to run, let's play games and tickle and explore! If they're feeling shy and quiet, let's get you cuddling, chatting or making daisy chains. Things always go smoothest when you have very few expectations on your child and just trust that no matter how they're feeling I'll be able to work my magic and capture some beautiful memories for you.
Where can we have our session?
In your own home or at an outdoor location of your choice! I have a few favourite spots in the Yarra Valley that I am familiar with and recommend. When you book with me you get access to my location guide so you can choose your favourite spot!
How much do clients usually spend?
Seperate from your session fee is a collection price. Your session fee ($250) is paid at the time of booking and you'll be able to select which collection once you've seen your images (apart from the wonderful little collection which is only available at the time of booking). Collections start at $320, but most clients spend a total of $800-$1200 with me. If you'd like more details on pricing just complete the form above and you'll receive access to my price guide.
What about extended families?
What a beautiful thing it is, to capture the love and connection through generations. To celebrate and honour those relationships that have made us who we are and continue to deeply impact our lives. I love capturing extended families and the diverse range of connections that exist in them. These sessions can run a little longer and be a bit more fast paced, but are also a load of fun! Extended family sessions incur an extra charge of $50 per person outside of the initial immediate family.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, I offer gift vouchers! You can choose to gift just the session fee or the session fee + one of the collections. Vouchers are valid for 3 years, and lock in pricing that may otherwise increase. You can request either a physical voucher be posted to you or a digital voucher that you can print at home or e-mail directly to the recipient.
What time of day will we have our session?
In home sessions are usually booked for mid to late morning, whilst outdoor sessions are almost always booked in that hour or so before sunset so that we can capture that beautiful golden light.
Do your packages include printed photos?
Honestly, I do feel like a photo hasn't really completed it's job until it's displayed in some way. Hanging on the wall or in an album your kids can flip through, that's where photos should live. Not stored on the cloud where they're too easily forgotten.
In saying that all my packages include digital images, so you can download your favourite images to keep forever. But all of my packages also include at least one print so you have some tangible that can be held and displayed.
Do you offer payment plans?
I know big lump payments can be tricky when you're in the young kid stage of life (or really any stage of life, right?). That's why I offer payment plans, so you can spread your payments out over weeks or even months. Just ask for details on how to set this up.
What if I want a maternity and newborn session?
When you bundle a maternity session with any other session take $150 off! Both session fees are due at the time of booking in order to take advantage of this offer.
Em did a newborn session with us & I highly highly recommend her. From the moment I contacted her to get some extra information before booking in our session, to getting our absolutely beautiful photos back; she was fantastic! The photos from our session are truly beautiful, her work is outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services.
